We are officially in the THREE’S, yey! Today, I’m 30 weeks. Where did the time go? I can hardly believe that we’re going to have a newborn in our arms in a couple of weeks!
How far along: 30 weeks! 7-10 weeks more till we meet our baby.
Gender: We found out our baby’s gender during my 26th week ultrasound and it’s a baby BOY!
The bump: Definitely out. According to Babycenter.com, my baby is about the size of a large cabbage, that’s 5.7 inches long and weighs almost 3 pounds. My baby bump is definitely feeling a lot bigger this week especially when I am walking or trying to pick something off the floor. Although when I lie down my bump still seems to disappear quite a bit.
Total weight gain: +7 kgs (15-16 lbs) since I discovered I was pregnant in July, 2016!
Stretch marks? My baby’s not even born yet he’s already started to leave his mark. I still moisturize with my growing bump with Argan oil and lotion though.
Cravings: Still no significant cravings but still hungry ALL the time. My appetite is strong, haha!
Sleep: Same as before. I wake up every few hours, turning and having to pee at least once.
Symptoms: The closer I get to the end of my pregnancy, the more intense my symptoms are becoming. Pregnancy gas and bloating, back pain, constipation, foot cramps and some calf cramps but I can usually stretch them out before they take off. I’m also feeling quite tired.
Best moment this week: Went to Grand Baby Fair at Megatrade Hall with my husband. I picked up a few newborn and 0–3 month onesies, diapers, scratch mittens, flannels, etc.
Maternity clothes: I still haven’t bought maternity clothes, just my old leggings + basic tees. So happy my clothes still fit me.
Movement: Our little one is moving more and more these days which I absolutely love! I can see him rolling around from the outside now.
Belly button in/out: Still in. No change.
Mood: Excited and happy! So much happier than last time!
Looking forward to: My 3D4D ultrasound! I feel like once we get this I will finally be able to rest easy knowing all looks good with our baby boy.
See, not a whole lot has changed, aside from getting a bit bigger, haha!
